Asus ROG Phone 3 renders appears for the first time

Today we get to know more about the ROG Phone 3 as we now have its hands-on image along with the promotional poster of the device, courtesy of a Weibo account that goes by Digital Chat Station.

Meanwhile, various leaks over the past few days have revealed a lot about Asus' ROG Phone 3.

Asus's ROG phones have always been jam-packed with the best hardware you can think of, and it looks like this won't be different for the next smartphone in the series. The back panel design is nearly similar to that of the predecessor Asus ROG Phone 2.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 is further tipped to pack an overclocked Snapdragon 865 processor alongside 16 gigs of RAM and up to 512 gigs of internal storage space, as well as 5G support, which means you might need to give up a kidney in order to afford this specced out mobile device. There is a ROG logo that probably will light up like last year's model, and a horizontal camera cut-out with an LED flashlight flaunts the rear fuselage of the device. There is no mention of screen refresh rate however, going by last year's trend we can expect at least 120Hz.

This display is accompanied by a selfie shooter and dual-speaker grills on the front. The power button and volume rocker is situated on its right, while on the bottom is a USB-C charging port.

Under the hood, it has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 paired with 8/12/16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The first thing that will notice though is that the ROG Phone 3 retains a 3.5mm audio jack, which is a huge relief for gamers. If you look closely, the phone has a "64MP Quad Bayer" tag below the rear camera setup, revealing that the main camera at the rear will have 64MP resolution and that it will use quad-bayer technology to produce 16MP images.
