Dallas Goedert sucker-punched while at dinner

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was punched during an altercation Friday night at a South Dakota restaurant and hospitalized at the Avera St. Lukes Hospital.

"Investigation led to the arrest of Kyle Douglas Hadala, age 29 of Sarasota, Florida". Then, a second man walks into the frame and punches Goedert in the face.

Goedert is said to be doing fine and was released from the hospital shortly after the incident.

On Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN shared video of the incident.

According to NJ.com, Goedert was out with two sisters and two brothers-in-law to "celebrate a birthday".

Goedert lives in Britton, S.D., which is located about 60 miles northeast of Aberdeen.

Goedert, a South Dakota native who played college football at South Dakota State, is entering his third season with the Eagles, and in 2019 he had his best season of his career. He had 58 catches for 607 yards and five scores in 15 games (nine starts) last season.
