
One day after Yungblud and Halsey reunited to protest the death of George Floyd, the former couple was forced to act as nurses after a Santa Monica demonstration turned bloody following a violent clash with police.
The pair wore masks and held signs saying, 'Black Lives Matter, ' as they chanted with others on the riot's frontline.
Halsey claims that police "gassed and fired" at peaceful protesters.

The announcement comes in the midst of protests around the city in response to the death of George Floyd, a black man in Minneapolis who died after a white police officer forcefully knelt on his neck (the officer has since been charged with murder).
The 25-year-old musician documented what happened at the protest and she revealed that she was actually treated injuries sustained from rubber bullets that she wasn't trained for.
Videos on social media, showing police officers appearing to push demonstrators to the ground and a NY police auto ramming people after being surrounded, have fed criticism of police actions.

"They were fired at peoples' faces during peaceful moments of the demonstration". A clothing store in the 600 block of Pine Avenue was also set on fire. No officers were injured, authorities said. Moore, who was on the front lines Saturday, said officers had acted appropriately, though he acknowledged some "individual failures". Streets were littered with bras from Victoria's Secret and cushioned jewelry boxes from Swarovski.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti shared support for demanding justice and accountability after the death of George Floyd and encouraged people destroying property around L.A.to go home.
Breed expressed sadness about the destruction and said she was not going to tolerate the violence.
"This hit me through layers of fabric and for that, I am extremely privileged". The singer also urged protestors to stay safe. Im safe. There were ppl I had to get to safety as many of them have VISAs.
