The Ohio Department of Health, as well as county health districts in the Mahoning Valley, reported 57,151 total cases of COVID-19.

Mercer County has 150 total cases and six deaths with 4,461 negative tests, while Lawrence County has 114 total cases, nine deaths and 2,836 negative tests. The percent positive of those tested on Sunday saw a slight decrease, dropping from 10.8% on Saturday to 10.4%.

As of noon Monday, Deputy Coroner Judith Pleskonko said the county has not received official notification about the death. That number remains at 796, 2.5% of the state's cases.

Portage County now has 192 cases.

The state Department of Health reported one new death from covid-19.
