But I have happier memories of Preston in the charming and good-natured family superhero comedy Sky High in 2005, where she plays Jetstream, a crime-fighter with the power of supersonic flight, who has the secret identity of a real-estate salesperson, named Josie DeMarco-Stronghold, married to Steve Stronghold, played by Kurt Russell, who is also a superhero, named the Commander.

In 2009, Kelly and John's oldest son Jett passed away following a seizure.

'Kelly's classmates remember her as a attractive, down-to-earth person and she has remained in contact with many old scholars over the years. "We had an immediate chemistry".

"Thanks to Kelly's passion to protect children's health - from her own personal experience - she helped catapult the children's environmental health campaign", she said. "Then he stops and says hello". I'm sending love and prayers to her husband, her children and everyone who loved her.

Preston met Travolta on the set of 1987's The Experts and the two would marry in 1991.

"You're a dream Daddio and make life so much fun!" She made her big screen debut in three 1983 cult movies: The Charles Bronson crime flick 10 to Midnight, the 3D Mad Max ripoff Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn, and the John Carpenter killer auto horror thriller Christine. Her other high-grossing films are Old Dogs, with more than $95 million in worldwide box office earnings; The Cat in the Hat, with $133.8 million in worldwide box office earnings; and Twins, with $216.6 million in worldwide box office earnings. Here's a glimpse into that history, starting with Travolta and Preston's special Hollywood love story. He describes her as "courageous" and said she will always be remembered.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my handsome wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer", he wrote on Instagram. The New York Post reports that like his partner of more than two decades, Travolta's first love, actress Diana Hyland, best known for her role on Eight is Enough, also died of the same cruel disease in 1977.

The Grease star added, "Kelly's love and life will always be remembered".
