Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been left out of the France squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches after testing positive for Covid-19, manager Didier Deschamps said.

He has been replaced in the France squad by Rennes' 17-year-old prodigy Eduardo Camavinga.

Pogba had remained in England during his time off and was pictured enjoying a night out at the swanky Cipriani Restaurant in London on Sunday night with his heavily pregnant wife Maria Zulay Salaues and friends.

The 23-year-old will have to miss part of Spurs' pre-season schedule for the next 14 days as a result of this latest news.

France will visit Sweden in the UEFA Nations League group match on September 5.

"Paul Pogba, who was previously on the list, unfortunately for him he carried out a test yesterday which was returned as positive this morning".
