Susquehanna University residence hall students quarantined as a precaution

The student told the officer eight people lived in the house and 10 people had come to visit, but Fox19 reported he then said he believed 20 people were inside the house.

A video shows police arriving at the party, greeting party goers at the front of the house and asking people who lives at the house.

Students attending Bradley University in central IL have been ordered to quarantine in their dorm rooms for the next two weeks following a coronavirus outbreak among the student body. According to the officer's body-camera footage, he warned the students that they were violating safety guidelines before running one student's license.

The students were quarantined Wednesday after a presumptive positive COVID-19 wastewater test result from the Buenos Aires apartments within the 18 St. Commons townhouse complex.

"You're not quarantining if you're mixing with other people".

Students will be allowed to spend time outside on campus if they wear a mask. He added that some of the guests had also tested positive.

"That's what we're trying to prevent". "We want to keep this town open".

All of the six residents were issued citations and one of the residents told police he wanted to press trespassing charges against those who were at the house, but did not live there.

All students in Laramie should shelter in place, all employees except those designated otherwise should work from home, and all classes will continue to be online until at least Monday, university officials said. The school told CBS News that it could not comment on an individual case, but said that any student in violation of quarantine or isolation orders, including hosting a large gathering, will face disciplinary action under the Code of Student Conduct.

The woman has not yet been identified and it is not known whether she has the virus or if she or anyone who appears in the video is a student at the university. Still, the school plans to resume in-person classes on September 21, Fox 19 reports.

Students will be allowed to leave their dorms to pick up food from on-campus dining halls and restaurants and run essential errands both on and off-campus.
