Adele shows off American accent in teaser ahead of SNL hosting debut

Adele is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend.

Adele will also end the show by introducing the musical guest for the night - on this occasion would be American singer and songwriter H.E.R.

Adele's "SNL" hosting debut is just days away!

Back in February, she had been filmed telling the viewer in a buddy's wedding "anticipate my record at September". Adele's in SNL, but she's not singing?

"Bloooooody hellllll" she wrote on Instagram.

'I've always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right.

Singer Adele will host this Saturday's episode with musical guest H.E.R., though the guest lineup has not been revealed for the October 31 show. "I'm going to be a musical guest this week", Kate joked while Adele joked, "Or maybe me!"

"It will be almost 12 years since the day I debuted on the show, during the election ... that cut short my career in America, so I feel a full circle and I can't say no!" Adele wrote. "I am besides myself that H.E.R will be the musical guest!" The 32-year-old singer was seriously looking better than ever, and once again slipped in a velvet-fit shirt at a promotional show for Saturday Night Live. And also totally terrified!

'I can't wait to melt into a flaming hot mess when she performs, then confuse myself while I laugh my arse off in between it all'.

She returned in November 2015 to promote the album 21, and the song "Hello" was heavily featured in an iconic digital short about a bickering family at Thanksgiving who could only agree on one thing: the brilliance of Adele.

The blue-eyed soul sensation last made headlines on August 30 for being accused of cultural appropriation after rocking Bantu knots and a Jamaican flag bikini top while celebrating Notting Hill Carnival at her $9.5M Beverly Hills mansion.
