Apple sets unveil for Oct 13 amid 5G iPhone speculation

Apple has taken a new design approach to the iPhone 12. Apple has just sent out the official invites for an October 13 event where the company will most likely introduce its new lineup of iPhones, tentatively called the iPhone 12.

Because new Apple Watches and iPads were revealed at last month's event, that means this new event will likely focus on the iPhone 12. Under the reasons why they might switch to the iPhone 12, 55.9% cited longer software support as the main reason, while 48.8% also said that better privacy protection was another reason why. The offshoots of the iPhone 11 were iPhone 11 Pro Max priced at $1099 and the iPhone 11 Pro priced at $999. The upcoming iPhone 12 will be powered by the latest Apple A14 chipset.

Next week's event is scheduled to start at 1pm ET and will be streamed live on Apple's website.

The first product launch was in September and featured the new iPad Air, refreshed entry-level iPad and updated Apple Watches. Two iPhones - iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max - are rumoured to have a dual camera setup where as the other two models will have a triple camera setup. As per the leaks, they will have OLED screens ranging from 5.4 to 6.7 inches and significantly advanced optic feasibility.

The date of the event is set for October 13th at 10 am PDT.

Despite the hype and excitement surrounding the iPhone 12, Apple seems to have a few secret drops up its sleeves.

The 12th generation of Apple iPhones is coming this month. Other possible new product introductions include the AirTags Bluetooth trackers and the AirPods Studio over-ear headphones. The device is also arriving later in the year than it typically does, with analysts expecting either a late October or early November launch for Apple's newest handsets.

The Blue-purple and Orange signify the new iPhone "2020 colors".

This is the second product launch Apple is organizing this year and is different from its previous yearly product launches. Apple, much like Google, is also expected to upgrade its computational photography performance, wit reports suggesting up to 4K video recording at 120/240fps for smooth, high resolution slow motion videos.
