Marshall County Announces 7 New COVID-Related Deaths

There are now 7,616 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and 10,270 people are under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases.

Mason County Public Health reported nine additional cases of COVID-19 in the County on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Of the four cases, local transmission is linked to two, one is through close contact and the fourth is still pending.

One person remains in hospital but is not in the ICU or on a ventilator. Since the pandemic began, the Island Health region has seen a total of 505 coronavirus cases. Mason County's rate of new cases per 100,000 during the prior two weeks is now 211 - based on 137 cases in the last 14 days and population of 64,980.

SEOUL - South Korea reported 583 more cases of COVID-19 as of midnight Wednesday compared to 24 hours ago, raising the total number of infections to 32,318.

This brings the total number of cases there to 73.

Four new COVID-19 cases confirmed

Of yesterday's almost 1,000 new cases, 11 were found in the Island Health region. We must be committed to each other, our community, and to slowing the spread of COVID-19.
