UPDATE (3:06 p.m.): NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "Ravens RBs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins have tested positive for COVID-19 and will be placed on the reserve list later today, according to sources".
The NFL chose to postpone the game because it wants to use the rest of the week to conduct more testing and contact tracing, a source told ESPN's Dan Graziano. That list is for players who test positive for the coronavirus and those determined through contact tracing to have been exposed to it.
The Ravens also said they were canceling all media availability for players and coaches Tuesday because of "the condensed schedule and preparation for the Steelers game".
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, front left, fumbles the ball while being hit by Pittsburgh Steelers free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (39) and inside linebacker Vince Williams (98).
The Ravens lost to the Tennessee Titans Sunday, 30-24 in overtime, despite having an 11-point lead.
In the meantime, there are still two other games going down on Turkey Day.
The Ravens put out a statement, after the Steelers' complaints, lauding the National Football League for its diligence.
The Baltimore Ravens canceled practice for a second day after reportedly receiving word of more positive coronavirus tests.
But now, there seems to be a chance they could get back on the field for Sunday's game.
But the reality is that Thursday's game is still in danger. This postponement has a big impact, considering how many people would have settled in to watch a marquee matchup on Thanksgiving night.
