The former heavyweight champion of the world traded lively punches with Roy Jones Jr. for eight entertaining rounds that ended with two middle-aged legends wearily hugging each other in mutual admiration.

"I'm happy with a draw", Tyson said afterward. As soon as I hit him good, you know, listen.

Since his first world-title win aged 20 - a record that still stands - Tyson has been in prison for rape, battled drug and alcohol abuse, been bankrupt, acted in films and fronted his own one-man show. I didn't fight in 15 years.

Meanwhile, some fans claimed that the result underlines the flaws in boxing's scoring system, alleging that the outcome demonstrates "corruption".
