Samsung could launch three foldable phones in 2021

As per the report, Samsung is now working on three foldable OLED panels, which suggests the company may launch three new foldable phones in 2021.

A recent leak regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 shows that this device will run the One UI 3.1 operating system based on Android 11 out-of-the-box. The Galaxy Z Fold Lite will reportedly make its debut in the first quarter of 2021, while the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will arrive in the third quarter.

Galaxy Z Fold Lite is back in the news, Z Flip Lite is out?

A notification appearing in Samsung's Members app states that five Gear watches will not be compatible with Samsung phones released in 2021 and after. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will arrive with a similar design and a smaller display.

The research firm also revealed a couple of specs pertaining to the Lite model's displays.

"Galaxy Z Flip 2: 6.7" internal, 3" external display, September launch. Worryingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to share the same characteristics.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra will also come with support for Samsung's S Pen stylus, as the South Koreans are starting the migration from the Note series of the Galaxy S lineup. If true, it would be a tough pill to swallow. The smartphone, along with two others in the Galaxy S21 series, is expected to launch on January 14 with pre-orders beginning on the same day. On the bright side, this downgrade would be contrasted by improvements in other areas, such as the selfie camera which will supposedly be hidden behind the display.

So far, so good, the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 2 are in the pipeline, that much we could've guessed, too.

The first set of flagship devices to receive Samsung's Android 11 (One UI 3.0) update is the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The increase in size will make the latter way more useful compared to the tiny external display on the Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
