Marion began her career on stage and starred in the original Broadway and the next touring productions of Hello, Dolly!. By the mid-1970s, Ramsey was also appearing on television with recurring roles on the sketch comedy shows Keep on Truckin' and Bill Cosby's Cos and a guest role on The Jeffersons. In addition to her work in the movie series, she achieved success in the NY theater world with her work in the Broadway show Eubie back in 1978.
Ramsey is survived by her brother. I loved her as Hooks in the Police Academy movies, she was so sweet.
The star was also known to be a talented singer, who wrote songs with composer Haras Fyre.
She also reprised the same role in 1993's "John Virgo: Playing for Laughs", and in an episode of the animated series "Robot Chicken" in 2006.
