Republican Congresswoman Files Articles Of Impeachment Against President Joe Biden

Newly-elected Representative and QAnon believer Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) announced on social media that she had, as previously announced, filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden.

Greene claimed, without providing evidence, that Biden threatened to withhold a loan to Ukraine while then-prosecutor general Viktor Shokin was investigating the founder of Burisma Holdings.

Greene is one of two members of Congress - along with Colorado Rep. Laura Boebert - who has expressed support for QAnon, a baseless conspiracy theory that alleges President Donald Trump is secretly fighting a "deep state" cabal of pedophiles.

Greene's election to Congress a year ago signalled a major victory for QAnon, the once-fringe, troll-infested pro-Trump movement that went from convoluted rants on message boards to being considered a domestic terrorist threat by top domestic security agencies.

He's only been in office for one day, but US President Joe Biden is already facing a freakish impeachment plot from a controversial Republican Congresswoman.

Greene noted that his pattern of abuse of power as Barack Obama's vice "is lengthy and disturbing".

In her statement, Greene says "President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the Presidency. President Biden has demonstrated that he will do whatever it takes to bail out his son, Hunter, and line his family's pockets with cash from corrupt foreign energy companies", she said.

Greene said Biden should be impeached for "enabling bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors, by allowing his son to influence the domestic policy of a foreign nation and accept various benefits - including financial compensation - from foreign nationals in exchange for certain favors".

"Yesterday's inauguration looked like a one party military state takeover with 30K troops".

Recall that Greene had her Twitter account temporarily suspended for "multiple violations", including tweeting about an alleged election fraud claims in Georgia.

Greene's conspiracies have even drifted her away from members of her own party.

Video of her announcement on Thursday has racked up millions of views and tens of thousands of comments and retweets.
