[Teams] Southampton vs Liverpool: Confirmed line-ups from St Mary's

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl admitted that there were tears in his eyes following his side's 1-0 triumph over Liverpool as the Austrian manager joked said tears were caused by the wind, not his team's emotional victory.

Fraser Forster - who kept his first top-flight clean sheet in over three years - made a save from Sadio Mane in the 75th minute in what proved to be Liverpool's only shot on target.

"It made life massively hard", he told Sky Sports.

"Liverpool were fantastic in the first 15 minutes of the second half but you would expect Southampton to be hanging on at the end and they weren't", he told Sky Sports.

If Klopp's men were too passive in the first half, they started the second half with the intensity they have made their trademark in recent seasons as Southampton were pinned inside their own half.

Gary Lineker was sharp to tweet, "We might just have ourselves a title race".

Speaking after the match, Klopp was visibly livid at the officiating decisions and also took the opportunity to criticise those who label Sadio Mane as a "diver". I've no idea if that's my fault, or how that can happen.

'If Liverpool tail away and finish lower down the table, he won't come to Liverpool - so they should worry about this season.

Jamie Kennedy has also lined up a 7/1 Four-fold for Tuesday that takes in the National League North, Ligu2 in France and the Duth Eerste Divisie plus there's an early chance to have an early look at that Manchester Derby in KevMac's Preview. But we don't have to make it bigger than it is, but it's big. It is nowhere near enough.

"At times I watch them and think where is the goal coming from". They are football problems; yes, we are anxious about that but football problems you solve with football and that's what we are working on.

Even though Liverpool weren't exactly successful with several long balls over the course of the game, the decision to play a short corner when the ref's about to blow his whistle was truly baffling. If someone comes in and upsets the apple cart and wants to be more important than anybody else - like Neymar for example, who is one of the best players in the world but who wouldn't suit Liverpool - it could destabilise the group's respect and harmony'.

Liverpool won the league at a canter last season, however, it seems Klopp and his players are braced for a tougher challenge this time around.

Djenepo's evening was cut short when he limped off injured on the half hour mark, replaced with Nathan Tella, before Sadio Mane created space for a shot on the edge of the area but failed to test Forster in the home goal as he fired over the top.

"When you are a top team like Liverpool you should be in the top two or three for everything offensively".
