UAE- Facebook says 'configuration change' logged out some users

In the first official response from the "Facebook" app to this sudden issue, his spokesman said: "We realize that some people are now having trouble accessing their account, and we are working to get things back on track".

Facebook logged over 2 billion users Friday night, Your Content has learned.

Judging by the tweet responses on the Facebook Twitter page, we are throwing a wild guess that this might be a two-factor authentication issue for many Facebook users. That being said, many users are still complaining that they still can't log in to their Facebook account. Are you having issues logging into Facebook at the moment? Apparently, something else has caused the unusual mass-log-out event that has affected such a large number of people. While users were able to log themselves back in, the two-factor SMS codes often came late.

A Facebook company spokesperson said in an email to The Verge, which read, "On January 22, a configuration change caused some people to be logged out of their Facebook accounts". Some users also report that they had to upload scans of their ID to regain access, which was overly suspicious and cumbersome.

Based on the Facebook outage map on Downdetector, these issues appear to be reported mostly from the US. If you want to access the app using your iOS powered handset, you will have to sign back into your account.

So Facebook, how you gonna come back from this one? If you have a problem with accessing, you should contact their customer service.
