Brown fires back at Bruce Arians, Emmanuel Sanders on Twitter

Brown has, subsequently, requested a trade, and while the team GM doesn't seem to be game for that quite yet - and head coach Mike Tomlin has said that he won't consider it until "all options are on the table" - another report suggests that the team may be acquiescing to his demands. Boy, they went after it because (coach) Mike Tomlin used to tell them, "two dogs, one bone". "He's just gotta make better decisions off the field, be on time, do some of those little things". "We work hard to get to where we are. So the bottom line is I'm disappointed over what happened at the end of the season, and if there are lessons to be learned here we'll look at that and see what we can do better". Steelers owner Art Rooney II said last week it would be "hard to envision" the All-Pro receiver still on the team come July.

In the meantime, tensions between Brown and the team, specifically quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, have grown.

Brown hasn't publicly commented on his situation but has removed his team affiliation from his Twitter bio and is using social media to flirt with the San Francisco 49ers as a potential trade partner.

He reportedly skipped meetings and practices and didn't return Tomlin's calls.

But now his view is from afar, and he is not impressed with Brown's actions or behaviour.

Despite leading the National Football League with 15 touchdown receptions this season, Brown sat out the team's regular-season finale against the Bengals after a reported blowup with Roethlisberger. I wouldn't feel comfortable betting one way or another, but I do know that it likely won't be ending smoothly.
