George RR Martin allegedly working on From Software title

A stanch defender, though, was none other than series author George R.R. Martin! "It has been a wild ride, to say the least".

Then, "I've consulted on a video game out of Japan", he notes, an aside that ties into previous rumors about Tokyo studio FromSoftware. The developer gained worldwide recognition thanks to the unexpected success of cult hit Demon's Souls, its follow-up, the Dark Souls trilogy. "The Winds Of Winter is very late, I know, I know, but it will be done", Martin adds.

In a blog post titled "An Ending", published yesterday, Martin discussed his projects following the end of the show, including a producer credit on eight upcoming TV shows, short film adaptations, and involvement on some feature-length projects.

New Zealand is so handsome that it might actually distract Martin from finishing his book, he said. "Well. yes", he revealed.

According to a Gematsu source familiar with the ongoings at FromSoftware, R.R. Martin has been consulting on the new open-world title with FromSoftware, which has been in development for the last three years. "I want to thank people, but there are so many", he wrote following the finale's airing."But I do need to mention David Benioff, Dan Weiss, Bryan Cogman...and of course the great team at HBO, headed by Richard Plepler".

Though they had some guidance from Martin's advice, fans revolted over the eighth and final season of the Emmy-winning series, with almost 1.4 million signing a petition asking for a do-over as of Tuesday. I expect these last two books of mine will fill 3,000 manuscript pages between them before I'm done...and if more pages and chapters and scenes are needed, I'll add them. In his blog, Martin wrote in his blog that he is in love with New Zealand and he fears that the country's beauty would distract him to finish the most-awaited novel. He then went on to speak about how the story will conclude in his books. But with that celebrity, and with the polarizing ending that many fans of the show are deriding as disappointing, comes the burden of expectation. Are you looking forward to GRRM's ending to Thrones?

"How about this? I'll write it".

What do YOU think Perezcious readers? Then everyone can make up their own mind, and argue about it on the internet'.

Be careful what you wish for, Martin.
