Home and Away stars pay tribute to Ben Unwin following his death

Former "Home & Away" actor Ben Unwin was found in his home in northern NSW on August 14 by authorities, a day before his 42nd birthday.

Ben Unwin acted alongside Summer Bay alumni like Kate Ritchie, Ryan Kwanten, Ada Nicodemou and Bec Hewitt, during his tenure at Home And Away and scored a nomination for "Best New Talent" at the 1997 Logie Awards and "Best Newcomer" at the British Television Awards in the same year.

The Australian star, who played Jesse McGregor on the popular TV soap, died last week. "The death is not being treated as suspicious".

"My first tv week cover was with you", Kimberley wrote.

Unwin played Jesse between 1996 and 1999, before returning to the soap again in 2002 for another four-year stint.

A spokesman for the Seven network, which broadcasts Home and Away, said: "Cast and crew from Home and Away are saddened to learn of the passing of former castmate, Ben Unwin". Her character Leah Patterson-Baker also had a number of encounters and a brief romance with Ben's bad-boy character Jesse McGregor- a young thief who was living on the wrong side of the law.

Jesse's co-stars during his time on Home and Away also include Isla Fisher, Tempany Decker, who was one of his love interests on the show, and Roslyn Oades.

"The body of a 41-year-old man was located".

'Police attended Minyon Falls, Whian Whian, responding to a concern for welfare, ' said a police spokesperson. You forever hold a special place in my heart.

"I will be sad for now, but I promise to tell stories of great joy about our times together".

"I just woke up to the tragic news of Ben's passing, my heart goes out to his family", she told Yahoo Lifestyle.

His old Home and Away cast mates have paid tribute to him on social media, with Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah, sharing a photo on Instagram.

Ben reportedly had a career change after leaving the beloved show, studying law and working as a solicitor. "Deepest condolences to his family and friends".
