Curry return delayed - Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are waiting for the nearing return of Stephen Curry after missing a majority of the 2019-20 season due to injury.

In a group declaration released Saturday early morning, the Warriors claimed Curry "remains on schedule for a return to play at some point in March". Curry will practice with Santa Cruz on Monday.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters that Curry would not play Sunday against the Washington Wizards or Tuesday at the Denver Nuggets but could have a chance to play Thursday against the Toronto Raptors. He had surgery two days later.

Curry has missed all but four games this season after suffering a broken hand in October.

The Golden State Warriors entered the NBA Finals previous year as one of the best teams in the NBA but suffered a number of casualties during the six-game series against the Raptors, as the team lost both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson to devastating injuries and was unable to secure its third straight championship as a result.

"It was fun, man", Curry told reporters after practice on February 22. I've done every rehabilitation you can think about on your own in the health club to function on your conditioning as well as ability job, as well as all that kind of things. "That's what you're used to, again, just playing basketball". So, it was nice.

So, on Friday, they let Curry know he wouldn't play on Sunday. In 112 championship game, the six-time All-Star is balancing 26.5 factors, 6.3 helps as well as 5.4 rebounds.
