Here Are the Details for the New 'Tiger King' Episode

Called The Tiger King And I, the "after-show" will be hosted by Joel McHale, who announced the new episode on Netflix's social channels this morning. You got it. In an effort to capitalize on this totally unpredictable Tiger King hype train, Netflix is rolling out a new after show that will be hosted by Joel McHale (The Soup, Community) and will feature interviews with numerous members of the cast.

It's been less than a week since Jeff Lowe, the current owner of Joe Exotic's animal park in Oklahoma, spilled the news about the bonus episode.

You may have already binged your way through the absolutely unbelievable seven-part Tiger King, but there's actually more to see.

On Twitter, a shirtless McHale appeared in a special video announcement for the upcoming after-show, wearing a Joe Exotic-style cowboy hat and a leopard-print scarf wrapped around his neck.

He reveals that he interviewed several subjects about what's been going on in their lives.

The catch-up special will feature new interviews with Joseph Maldonado-Passage aka Joe Exotic's former zoo manager John Reinke, campaign manager Joshua Dial, ex-husband John Finlay, zoo manager Saff Saffery, head zookeeper Erik Cowie, reality-TV producer Rick Kirkman, and investor/big cat enthusiast Jeff Lowe with his wife Lauren. It appears Joe will also not appear in the special, although he is now in jail so that might have something to do with.

And after the hit series premiered, Carole, 58, released a statement on her Big Cat Rescue website expressing her displeasure with how she was depicted. She also noted that Netflix had told her the docuseries would be like a Blackfish for tigers and expose wrongdoings in America's zoo system.

Unfortunately, familiar faces you won't be seeing back include the tiger queen herself, Carole Baskin, along with Doc Antle and Dillon Passage. Or are we witnessing Carole Baskin's master plan finally take effect? That's how [producers] described it'.

The news was prematurely leaked earlier in the week by Jeff Lowe.
