MI reports number of recovered COVID-19 patients for first time

More than 600 employees at Henry Ford Health System, which has hospital locations throughout southeast MI, have tested positive for the new coronavirus, reports show.

According to International Business Times, 2,500 employees at the hospital have been tested for coronavirus and 734 tests came back positive.

More than 700 employees of a hospital in the Detroit metropolitan area of MI state of the USA have tested positive for coronavirus, according to a report.

Several employees say they are concerned about being exposed to the virus due to a shortage of protective equipment. The company also hasn't released additional information.

"If we are to test the whole population, you are going to see large numbers of people who are testing positive", Munkarah had reportedly said at a conference call with reporters Monday afternoon. "Testing positive is just a measure of how contagious this virus is".

About 2,200 workers in Michigan's two largest health care systems have CCP virus symptoms or have tested positive for the virus, a total that further hampers efforts to fight the pandemic and shows the dangers facing frontline workers.

State officials announced Wednesday that recovery data will begin to be reported on the state website every Saturday, while other statistics on deaths and positive cases will continue to be updated daily.

MI has more than 17,000 confirmed cases of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus, the third-most of any state as of Tuesday morning.

"We are very concerned about that".

MI still ranks third in the country for cases and deaths from COVID-19, behind NY and New Jersey, and ahead of California and Louisiana.
