The Mandalorian: Temuera Morrison returns to Star Wars universe as Boba Fett

Morrison portrayed Boba's father, Jango Fett, in Attack of the Clones.

Morrison played Jango Fett in the second Star Wars prequel, Attack of the Clones, wherein the bounty hunter was the basis of the Republic's clone army before he perished at the end of the film.

The character "is expected to play just a small role" in the Disney+ hit's second season.

We may have already gotten a glimpse of Boba Fett in the first season of The Mandalorian.

Jeremy Bulloch took up the role of Boba Fett in the original trilogy, where he captures Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in Empire Strikes Back and brings the smuggler to Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine.

Disney+ also released Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian on May 4th, which is a series that goes behind the scenes of how The Mandalorian was made. Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Boba Fett previously escaped his apparent death in the old Star Wars expanded universe, but those stories are no longer canon. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.

The series also stars Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man) and Nick Nolte (Affliction).

The Mandalorian is executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson.

Iger explained, "The priority in the next few years is television with The Mandalorian Season 2 coming in October and then more coming from The Mandalorian thereafter, including the possibility of infusing it with more characters and the possibility of taking those characters in their own direction in terms of series".
