Clippers' Lou Williams to serve 10-day quarantine, will miss games

An NBA player is facing quarantine for 10 days after visiting a strip club. for dinner.

The photo inside Magic City, posted on rapper Jack Harlow's Instagram account, was later deleted.

"I can't tell you about his journey because I wasn't on that journey with him". That tweet came down too. Williams could be seen with a drink in his hand and one of the protective face masks the National Basketball Association gave players in the Disney bubble. Ain't nobody partying. Chill out lol.

Williams became the third Los Angeles Clippers player given a release for a family emergency, which has disrupted the practice and scrimmage sessions for the team as it prepares to return on Thursday against the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers.

"I can't share much with his journey".

Williams' 10-day quarantine means he will miss the Clippers' first two games in the bubble.

"P-Bev" has averaged 7.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.1 steals in just over 27 minutes per game this season. There's a four-day minimum quarantine for anyone who leaves the bubble, but that total could be increased to two weeks depending on circumstance.

Williams' act was seen as a breach of good faith with Clippers head coach Doc Rivers saying that they did not like seeing the picture.

Twenty-two of the NBA's 30 teams are now housed within a quarantine bubble inside Orlando's Walt Disney World location with the league to finish off the season at the famed theme park and resort facility.

The departures are likely to be detrimental ahead of Thursday's Lakers game, which will see the restart of the season.

"I think we all knew that we could start the league".

Information from ESPN's Ramona Shelburne and Bobby Marks was used in this report.
