Teen pushes bear off wall to save her dogs!

Hailey, 17, rushed to protect her pets at her home in California on Memorial Day after realizing they were barking at a bear. The mama bear swatted at the large dog, and Morinico sprang into action when the bear then started swatting at one of the smaller dogs.

"Do not push bears and do not get close to bears", she told KCAL-TV.

Hailey Morinico thought her dogs were barking at other dogs, or a squirrel, but discovered it was a bear and two cubs they were barking at. "My cousin Hailey yeeted a bear off her fence today and saved her dogs". Many shared that they would have been scared to even approach a mother bear with her cubs as they are very aggressive in nature. "How was your Memorial Day?!"

In the video, a bear can be seen climbing over a fence into the house's garden.

The Utah woman, only identified as Hailey, bravely runs towards the bear and, without any hesitation, pushes it off the wall. The video was posted on social media platforms by Hailey's cousin, Brenda.

"Morinico's mother posted on Facebook that her daughter "'Just saved our dog with super human strength", describing the scene as, "for me one of the scariest moments in life'. The bear then turned its attention to one of the smaller dogs and had nearly picked it up when the teen, named Hailey, rushed out to save it. There are more than 110k comments on the video and has been liked by 5.6 million accounts since the video was first posted on Sunday, May 31. But as we've seen you simply can not underestimate a mama bear, even when that bear is a human.

Another user pointed out that the bear was just trying to save its cubs.

'She sent the video on our family group chat and I just knew people would think it was insane so I posted it.

"She just shoved that bear like it was a stuffed animal", one person wrote.

"So, I go over to the bear, and I look it in the eyes", she says.

But she cautions others against trying similar stunts. "And as her slave, I have to protect her".

"By the time I get there, the bear is literally picking up one of my dogs", Hailey said, showing a picture of Valentina, the "baby" dog who was picked up by the bear.

The teen said she is lucky to have walked away with only a sprained finger and a scraped knee.
